“Ond Saga” is the 2017 album from KSMB and its not a rebirth of the historic band but more a reunion of the band’s front men Steppan and Alonzo. After the lukewarm “En Gång Till” album that was released back in 1993 the expectations are not particularly high. However Alonzo has proven with some strong FAS 3 discs that he still can do it and now he wants to silences all the critics with an angry, energetic punk album that sounds exactly as it should. The guitar and the bass creates a heavy foundation to the music but above all its wonderful to once again hear Alonzo and Steppan, two of Sweden’s most distinctive rock voices, sing about the injustice in our country again, when they change verses back and forth. “Ond Saga” features a bunch of fast punk tunes with sharp choruses that neither sounds like the glory days or tries to recreate them. No this an album created by middle-aged men, who are neither ashamed of their age or try to hide it but if you think the band has gone soft then just listen to the opening track “Helvete” where the band shows their anger and frustration
