Born in the shadow of the brooding Yorkshire hills, Kull was forged by members of Dyscaphia and the barbarian metal kings themselves, the mighty Bal-Sagoth. building on the musical tradition already established in the Maudling’s back-catalogue. Exile was originally planned as the seventh Bal Sagoth album as they wanted it to be a continuation without Bryon Roberts and with Dyscaphia guitarist Tarkan Aslp as vocalist but in the end it became the debut album by Kull. Recorded at Waylands Forge Studios
