Forever Autumn is probably Lake Of Tears finest accomplishment. Full of dramatics and melancholy harmonicas and Daniel Brennare’s charismatic voice. There are also acoustic passages that draws comparison to Tiamat’s Wildhoney album and that could be due to the fact that Magnus Sahlgren was also present in the latter as a guest/session lead guitarist. A Crimson Rose was a great album but Forever Autumn really showed Lake Of Tears true potential. This is a fine effort and a beautiful work of art that you should have in your collection.
