Lake Of Tears is the Swedish doom metal band that turned gothic. They were formed in Boras, Sweden back in 1992. They started out as a doom act and released their debut Greater Art in 1994. Their third album, A Crimson Cosmos, turned out to be the band’s breakout recording when it was released in 1997. This single released by the band back in 2014 features two rare demo tracks. First out is Wyverns which is a demo from 1993. The track has stayed unreleased until this single. Cosmic Weed would later be one of the most musically satisfying efforts the band had ever done up until that point when it was released on Crimson Cosmos 1997. Here you have the 1996 demo version of the track.
