Norwegian 1982 press on MCA Records

The 1973 movie The Sting with Paul Newman and Robert Redford was a huge success. So big that it actually got its follow up in 1983. The movie got a lot harsch criticism even though both Newman and Redford agreed to return to their roles. The soundtrack for The Sting II was composed, adapted and arranged by Lalo Schifrin. Much like the movie it feels like a reworking or repeating of the original score. The jazz and ragtime music isnt bad at all, even pleasant at time, but it just makes you long for the music from the original 1973 soundtrack instead
