Original 1989 Noise release

Lanadrid, from Berlin Germany, released this one and only album on Noise records. With the almost thrash metal looking logo and the beautiful Andreas Marschall artwork you might think you know what you will get. So when you actually get a chance to listen to the album you will be a bit surprised as its not exactly the publication as you would expect from Noise in 1989. Its not thrash metal and its not Rock N Rolf metal, it could more be described as street-like hardrock. Its easy to think that this quintet was a quick come and go band by judging on their discography but the fact is that Lanadrid was around for several years but their career never really took off. The Sister Alley release has some cool riffs and vocalist Gary Wagner’s voice fits the band perfectly, sounds a bit dirty and sleazy. Youll find some groove on Wanna Be Your Drug, great guitar work on Watch Out, speed on Hell Rider, ballad like intro to Is It Love and some blues influences on the title track, Sister Alley. Overall this might not be what you expected but far from a bad release. Well worth checking out
