Le Foxxe was a project by soul and funk singer Janice Christie from Pennsylvania. Janice Christies had a club hit with One Love, a track that peaked at the 35 spot on the US Dance Chart. At the same time this Le Foxxe track appeared. This track called French Kiss also got some radioplay but Janice would cut this project down and concentrate on his own solo career and she would reach the US Dance and R&B charts with several of her tracks. For hardrockers and rappers she would become known for other things than her hits. The B-side on her Messin Around single was the track Bring It Here. A track that would be famously sampled by the Beastie Boys on Brass Monkey”. And in 1982 she would lend her vocals to the one-off single Keep On Dancin by the Third Rail Band, which features guitar by future Kiss member Vinnie Vincent.
