Description

The atmospheric doom death act Lethargy was formed in Zaporizhia in Ukraine back in 2007 and after just one demo the band were signed. Their debut album, that translateds to something like The Burden Of Human Passions, was released in 2010. Thisis a beautiful melancholic cocktail of death metal, dark metal, gothic metal and doom metal in the spirit of Insomnium, Noumena, Katatonia, Daylight Dies, with its own original sound. The album’s pieces expose the ulcers of human existence, call for a spiritual struggle for the pure ideals of humanity, and of course … talk about the eternally beautiful feeling – love. The group symbolically named their debut full-length after the book of the same name by Somerset Maugham.
