Lockdown is a death metal supergroup formed by Joao Gordo (vocals, Ratos de Porao), Antonio Araujo (guitar, Korzus), Rafael Yamada (bass, Claustrofobia) and Bruno Santin (drums, Endrah ). The band started to jam during the pandemic lockdown and it would probably never have happened without the pandemic. The band released some material on internet and it was very well received and the band put together their debut EP, Unholy Ceremony Heretic. Guitarist Antonio Araujo, who is the creative mind behind the project, pulls out one cool riff after another and Bruno Santin’s drumlines are just awesome. All the instruments was recorded completely separately from each other, each musician in their own home or in a studio, but the end result is a tight and fun album full of great death metal.
