Louise Hoffsten’s album “L” is recorded in Art:ery Studios. Hoffsten has written the tracks this time with help from Peter Kvint, Sharon Vaughn, Sandra Bjurman, Stefan Örn, Leif Larsson, Johan Glössner. The opening track “Lucky Me” and the first single, “My Dignity”, belongs to the most beautiful parts of the album but the best parts however is when Hoffsten shows her rockier or bluesier side, like on “Starhead And Scarecrow. Its on these tracks where Hoffstens voice really shines. The guitar and harmonica are still close to her side but “L” is a significantly more varied album then before. She goes from bluegrass, ballads and pop to uptempo blues and no matter what she sings she does it with a big heart. This album is simply a gem
