Description
They say that album number two is difficult to make but for Carl Nilsson it doesnt seems to have been any problems. Lucifers Aid’s debut album New To Reality was made with most of the cliche’s you could expect from a dark industrial album but Human Rights is something completely different this is an album that grabs you from the first minutes. This is a major step up and it feels so intense, monotone and claustrophobic that i wonder if this isn’t among the best records in the heavy electronic school that has been released by a Swedish artist for the past 20 years. Many of the songs have a minimalistic take with some simple distorted vocals on top and it feels like youre staring down into an abyss without daring to move. Sure they are monotonous but at the same time very vivid and unpredictable. Future Mess is one of the highlights of the album, it features more atmosphere but still so heavy and uncompromising that you really cant move or hide from it. I envy those who hasnt heard Human Rights yet, because then I could have heard it for the first time again. When it comes to Electronic music this is the years best album without doubt
