Description
Rare original 1994 cd single in paper cover
Lucky stiff was formed in Gothenburg in the second half of the 80s. 1988 saw the release of the bands first release, the vinyl single, Telephone To Nowhere. Another single followed before the band released their debut album, Hey Mr Boring, in 1991. Even if their debut was a fairly mediocre affair it never was borning. Because this band is never boring. They can be everything from experimental metal to grunge to power metal to 70s rock to plain weird. Their second album E.Z was released in 1995 and showed a band that had progressed into something really interesting. Tougher and more focused. The music felt up to date with a mix of Rage Against The Machine, Biohazard, Pantera and believe it or not Devo. The Autonal Song single was released a year before the bands second album and it featured two own penned tunes as well as two cover tunes. The covers are from The Residents and Frank Zappa which might show how hard it is to pigeonhole this band
