Description
Original 1997 cd single
The album Twenty marked the 20th year following the tragic 1977 plane crash that changed the Lynyrd Skynyrd story forever, and it was also notably the fifth record the group had released since reuniting in the late 80s. Prior to recording Twenty, the group added two new members — ex-Blackfoot Rick Medlocke and former Outlaw Hughie Thomasson. The track Travelin Man, was released as a single. This is the first time its released as a studio recording as it has only been available on the the 1976 live album One More From The Road. Making use of modern technology, the band were able to use original singer Ronnie Van Zant’s vocal tracks on parts of the song, in order to create a duet between Johnny and Ronnie that will send shivers down your spine.
