Description
Rare original out of print Osmose cd release with two bonus track not available on the vinyl version
Foremost on the Colombian death metal scene. Masacre, hailing from Medellin, originated during 1988. The group hit the scene with two demos in 1989 and an EP in 1990 before they signed to French Osmose Productions label in 1991. Masacre was among the first bands on Osmose and their debut album Requiem was the second lp to be released by the label. This album was dedicated to Dead (Mayhem). Listening to the album youll find that its almost perfect. ‘Almost’ is because it lacks the heaviness of their EP and demo. Something happened during the production and the end result has a rather poor sound. However its an essential buy for any fan of South American metal.
