Florida based Massacre was brutal and fast death-metal and they were notorious for Kam Lees deep, roaring vocals. The band actually started as a power/heavy/speed metal band playing cover songs until Kam Lee and Allen West joined, upon which, they converted their style to death metal. Kam Lee is considered an influential innovator in extreme vocals: many credit him as inventing the characteristic death growl (which is first heard on Massacres 1986 Aggressive Tyrant demo). This limited album features a complete live performance from Rock City in Tampa, Florida when the band played there at the Metal Mania Festival 1986. The date for this festival was the 25th of May 1986 around the same time the band released their second demo Chamber Of Ages. Compared to Massacre’s debut album From Beyond, the band at this demo stage was pure 80s Death Metal rawness with the incredible insane power-voice of Kam The Tyrant Lee. This performance from Metal Mania festival, when the band appeared along side Morbid Angel, Havoc, Executioner, Scimitar and Lebenwourth, will be among the best live shows with Massacre you will ever hear. Everything about this live show rules, the guitar sound is heavy as fuck and Kams vocals is proof that he is the greatest Death Metal vocalist.
