The Soundtrack to Adrian Lyne’s 1987 movie Fatal Attraction, featuring Michael Douglas and Glenn Close, was made by the French composer Maurice Jarre (father to Jean-Michel Jarre). He has a rich history with scores to some major movies and on Fatal Attraction he does a frighteningly convincing job of transferring Glenn Close’s pursuit of Michael Douglas into sounds. For any male that might be experiencing a similar situation, but hopefully less intense, then you need this. Its the perfect background music for the conflicting emotions inside of you. The minuses of this album are definitely outweighed by the pluses, but it is worth mentioning that even though six tracks are listed on the cover the player actually reads fourteen tracks. This is a bit confusing but the album features 6 suites / tracks that have been broken up somehow in multiple tracks at the pressing plant. For this release it has been broken up into 14 tracks.
