US pressing on black vinyl

I think many were wondering what we could expect from a new Metal Church album when long time singer Mike Howe passed away. After just one album, Congregation Of Annihilation in 2023, the band stood without a singer again. Its easy to be afraid that this would be another act where every new record would see a new line-up and especially a new singer. All songs on the album were once again written by Kurdt Vanderhoof which is the backbone of the band. However Dead To Rights is a fine statement from the band. The music is intense with sharper riffs, relentless grooves, and an uncompromising heaviness that reflects both the band’s classic roots and their modern power. New vocalist Brian Allen is a more than suitable front men and the album is full of great songs. Hopefully this will be a steady line-up for the band to continue and grow on.
