Description

Metal Edge was an American magazine covering heavy metal music. The magazine was founded in the summer of 1985, during the height of glam metal’s success. Covering bands across the hard rock spectrum — from classic metal to thrash to punk — Metal Edge is considered a leading voice in the mainstream metal media. In existence since 1985, Metal Edge was published twelve times a year — providing in-depth coverage of current musical acts, including band profiles, news of the latest releases and coverage of the biggest tours. In the 80s it was know for all its pictures and they called themselves “hard rocks no.1 photo magazine”. This changed over the years and it was given a much more serious look in 2007 with their new owners. The magazine ceased operations in 2009.

This issue has 120 pages written in English and features articles or interviews with or about Jon Bon Jovi, Faster Pussycat, Slaughter, Queensryche, Rob Halford of Judas Priest, Megadeth, Blue Tears, House Of Lords as well as centerfolds, photo features, color pages and other news
