Angels From Hell is an album that has been released on both cd, picture disc and vinyl and most of them claim different sources. Some say Felt Forum, New York 12th of January 1986 others says Colisum in Charlotte on the 26th of February 1989 while other says Civic Center in Hartford Connecticut on the 17th of March 1989 while other says its from Dave Mustaines last show with the band which took place in Brooklyn, New York at the famous L’Amour club on the 9th of April 1983. You just need to take a quick look at the track list to realize that none of these are correct as a set list made up of these tracks at any of those dates cant be correct. At the same time several of those dates can be correct for this disc too as its actually not one concert but a disc made up of several recordings over the years. There are tracks here recorded in 1983 while others are from the Master Of Puppets and And Justice For All tours. Sound quality cant be compared with todays material. This sounds much like the old live albums from the 80s and the live cassettes that were traded all over the world back then and that’s what Metallica a heavy metal phenomenon, that cant be compared to any other acts, in the first place.
