To warm up for the big Bonnaroo-festival, Metallica decided to play at a secret gig at a club called ‘the Basement’ in Nashville on the 12th of June 2008 and it’s great to hear them play such a small venue. From start to finish it’s a unique show, lots of talking and jamming with the fans (you can actually hear what the fans are shouting towards Metallica). A couple of songs that are jammed on: 2×4, Mercyful fate, Frayed ends of sanity w/ fans on vocals. What makes this album worth getting? Of course the great show Metallica puts on, the high quality of the digipack, limited to 500 copies and besides the full show from Nashville a very sweet two song bonus from the Death Magnetic release party in Berlin
