This Best Of compilation for the solo work of German metal guitarist Michael Schenker contains songs from nine albums released between 1996 and 2001. Since there were also two live albums, the collection includes live version of old classics from the UFO era such as Doctor Doctor and Rock Bottom, as well as classic MSG tracks like Armed And Ready and Save Yourself. From his four solo albums, there are two instrumental rock songs and two acoustic tracks. Songs from the three MSG studio albums, Written In The Sand, The Unforgiven and Be Aware Of Scorpions, are also included. Schenker worked with four different singers on theese five MSG albums, so you can’t get more variety than that.
