American country singer and songwriter and son of bluegrass artist and songwriter L. E. White, born in Knoxville, Tennessee. Michael White was signed to Reprise Records in 1992, releasing his debut album Familiar Ground that year. If you love country music then check this out. Mr White has a deep soulfull voice and the album has wonderfully clever and thoughtful lyrics, and great musicianship. Simply awesome.
