Swedish punk act Mimikry’s 2016 album, Alla Sover, was released on the 15th of April. The band comments on working with producer Jonas Kjellgren: “it feels fucking right to do it with Kjellgren, with whom we only made occasional projects in the past. Kjellgren has a good way to find the right sound and he has very good experience of harder music as he has produced a variety of entities within the metal genre. Were having a blast in the studio hearing how our songs are emerging that sounds both very much like Mimikry while at the same time theres alot of new ideas. He brought out a hunger in us that we havent had in the studio since we recorded our album Ålderland, and we think its something you can hear. Vocalist Hjalle has a great feel for melodies and write good Swedish lyrics. The album will contain a great variety when it comes to song material that will be both grand melancholy, rapid smoking and everything in between.
