Moby in 2002 feels like a different artist then he was in his early years. His recent albums are a smooth fusion of house music and alternative rock and he now works more as a producer instead of a performer but that doesn’t mean that he cant put on a good show. This album was recorded at the Valby Hallen in Copenhagen, Denmark on the 8th of October 2002 and Moby was racing around the stage with an electric guitar. Some of his newer tracks — the mid-tempo rock song We Are All Made Of Stars, the disco track Honey — worked well with a live band. And Moby’s backup singer, Diane Charlemagne, sounded big and bluesy, even when she was repeating a few words over and over, like a human sampler. Still, there was a sense that these were merely cover versions of songs created in a music studio. Between songs, Moby emphasized that he was just a regular guy, not a typical pop star. Many of his comments were both self-deprecating and self-serving.
