Moonspell seem to have come to a deeper understanding of what music can be, and are seeking to discover a vast array of deliveries and themes. They have broken through the boundaries of their original style into an all-embracing approach of past, present and future musical developments. It’s something to be applauded, at least for the attempt. Unfortunately, their attempts fail more than succeed on Sin Pecado and the following mini album 2econd Skin. If you were howling at the moon while listening to Alma Mater, you might be in for quite a shock. We have two versions of the title track, a Depeche Mode cover and a modernized An Erotic Alchemy which is an updated version of the track from Wolfheart, or a rape of a classic track as most older fans think. There are also some live tracks from the Perverse Almost Religious Tour. The tracks here features keyboards, lots of them and it creates a wonderful and dreamy atmosphere.
