Description
Original Spanish 1994 press on black vinyl with lyric insert
Mordor was formed in Santander in Spain back in 1991 and they were better known in the Spanish metallic underground than anywhere else. Between 1992 and 1997 two demos and two albums were made, the first one is this one, Hogar Dulce Hogar (Home Sweet Home) and the other one was Evoluciion released in 1997. You don’t have to say anything about the cover. A toilet and a toilet roll floating in space? What did the artist think? I shit on the world? Even in the nineties, this “metal artwork” would not have won a flowerpot and it dates from that time. Musically its funky metal with thrash in turns, sometimes really weird and the singer screams in his native language. The album did well among Spanish thrasers af the time and the album has been re-released twice after that, by Spanish labels. A mix of Sepultura, Anthrax and Mordred. Check this out
