Morgana Delaude is an Italian Queen of metal legend. She would be Italys answer to Lita Ford, Doro and Lee Aaron back in 1985 when she started. However the only release she released in the 80s where the extremely rare ‘Morgana’ 12’ that was released by Video Star records in 1988. That limited release made sure she would stay unheard of in most other countries than Italy. Her first full length album wouldn’t appear until 2005. The good thing with Morgana is that she hasn’t evolved into some fancy gothic metal act with a female vocalist but stayed true to her epic heavy metal style during here 30 long year career. This ‘Lady Winter’ album features the ‘Morgana’ EP together with 8-track from an unreleased album that were recorded back in the 80s but never released due to financial lack of the record company. I have listened to this disc and to me she aint no Ford, Pesch or Aaron but there are serious collectors out there willing to pay more than 500 euro for the original vinyl so it definitely has found its market.
