Description
Austrian old school metal act Mortician released two demos, Street Warriors in 1987 and Break The Rules in 1989, and the cult EP No War but they never managed to release a full length album. Then the guys from Vorarlberg made their first, self-titled, debut album in 2011. From the old line-up there’s still guitarist Thomas Metzler and bassist Patrik Lercher in, then they are joined by the new singer Daniel Khan that fits in very well with his rough, sometimes high-pitched vocals. The eight new tracks are influenced by such classical headbanger-stuff like Judas Priest and Accept. Sometimes there can be heard also some smaller Ac/dc-influences, like in the beginning of the very simple title track; an uptempo-grenade at its best. Heavy Metal in its purest art. As a little bonus there are three live tracks from the Keep It True-gig in 2010
