Motala Metal Festival was a metal festival that took place 10 times between 1999 and 2005. The first festival took place in 1999 and it was held two times per year on three occasions 2000, 2001 and 2005 and one time each year the other years. The festival became famous for booking several foreign acts that never had been to Sweden before like Heavens Gate, Grave Digger, Labyrinth, Tankard and so on. Other acts that visit the festival was Amon Amarth, In Flames, Sabaton, Vader, Vomitory, Nifelheim, Dismember, Merciless, Iced Earth, Dissection, Dark Tranquillity, Marduk and many more. This anniversary festival shirt was sold on the tenth and final festival back in 2005.
