The Live Wire EP was originally released as a promo only 12” single by Elektra Records in Usa on August 16 back in 1982. The A-side then was Merry-Go-Round. Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx said .. Live Wire is actually about domestc violence, relationship with my mother and these stepdads that used to beat me. This out of print for 45 years, Live Wire radio-only promo EP was then re-released for Record Store Day 2016 with a newly created cover art
