This album is not to be sniffed at. If you’re a Napalm Death fan like myself you need this release. Although I love this band, I’m not buying every Japanese edition, digital edition, deluxe edition, etc., etc., to get all the bonus songs. So, thank you Napalm! They’ve handily collected all of the rare bonus tracks, b-sides, and songs from split singles from the last dozen years or so, similar to what they did with the Noise For Music’s Sake compilation, so fans can conveniently find them located in one spot. The tracks are not arranged chronologically, but rather in a way that makes for a listening experience similar to a new album. The booklet has extensive liner notes so you can keep track of which particular album session each song comes from. Going all the way back to the Code Is Red, the compilation includes songs from all eras from that album up to Apex Predator. The sequencing is perfect, as each disc basically sounds like a brand new Napalm studio album. It flows like a proper album despite the tracks being jumbled from different eras of the band . They are in their 28th year with Barney at the helm and 33rd year as an institution . Every album has gotten stronger as they get older in my opinion . This is an impressive array of leftovers that could have easily made the track lists of their better albums. A must have
