Necropsy dwells among the most cult death metal bands from Finland besides legendary groups such as Sentenced, Amorphis, Convulse or Demigod. From the bands start in 1987 to its untimely demise in 1993 Necropsy have recorded several highly-praised demos that are justly considered real classics of dark Finnish death metal. This is the first ever official release of the band’s entire demo discography. Done in close cooperation with the band, Tomb Of The Forgotten – The Complete Demo Recordings offers all tracks ever officially recorded by the band, from the first demo ‘Mental Disturbance’ (1989) until their last studio recording, the single track Anointing Of The Sick – it’s all there. All songs have been carefully remastered and the result is mind-blowing. Despite the fact that the entire material is at least 20 years of age, the songs now sound as if they have been recorded just a while ago, without losing the material’s original charm. Cesar Valladares, who has already worked for Asphyx, Krisiun and other bands, has delivered a fitting artwork, underlining the visual concept of the release and its musical content.
