Nihilist would end up being known more as the prototype for Swedish death metal legends Entombed, but in 1988, the young group played some of the most extreme music ever, taking cues from Venom as well as Napalm Death in forming a sound that would eventually become legendary. This rare 1990 vinyl single was released by CBR boss and Nicke Andersson and features the rare 2-track Drowned demo tape pressed onto a limited vinyl single. This is an important release even if its only two tracks it still demonstrates where this great genre grew out of. The Nihilist material stand as a testament to all that they have done for the genre, and what they have done is define it.
