Stockholm, Sweden gothic rock crammed with postpunk, blissed-out noise, krautrock and electronica. Vocalist Johan Hinders and keyborad player Martin Malm were preveious in Audionom, a group that quickly became a popular live act known for its abrasive shows that also integrated the films of member Martin Malm. Audionoms hypnotic pummeling sound took inspiration from their love for such early experimental visionaries as Hawkwind, Einstürzende Neubauten, and Neu. Alot of these influences were brought even into this sideproject Nineteenninetynine (1999). Johan and Martin are joined by bass player Joel Modin, guitarist Jonas Bergman and drummer Åskar Brickman. Goth inspired by the mentioned bands above makes the music some odd guitar-fueled anarcho-goth-punk that arent afraid to use elements of dance and house music. Johan Hinder later went on to Appareil.
