Chaotic Mysticism From The Tormented Silence is Brazilian musician Lord Deathlaff’s 2023 album with his Nöldr and it might be his greatest offering yet. It sure has its slightly rugged approach compared to his previous works but it still has those icy rhythms that blister the air with a cold cruelty; rhythms that flow with a malicious euphoria. Those things that we have loved with Nöldr before. Lord Deathlaff has that raw, coherent old school vibe from acts such as Sargeist and Satanic Warmaster. It has blastbeats, a blackened voice, dungeon synths and a relentless stream of melodic tremolo-laden riffs.
