The latest incarnation of Terry Butler on bass and Kenny Andrews on guitar is tight . Donald is excellent on drums as always and John can still pack a guttural punch at the ripe old age of 54. Part of the allure of Obituary has always been trying to decipher John’s lyrics and here he sounds cleaner. Obituary’s legendary record performed live in its entirety. Its really shows that Obituary is one of Death Metal’s most ripping and unrelenting bands. Obituary proves that over 30 years later, they are still at the top of their game. I would also recommend their live album entitled Dead, because it has the original line-up performing in their prime .
