Description

3 orienteering friends that not only shared their passion for sport but also shared their passion for music. The three orienteering buffs were Per Westblad on drums (who ran for Dala-Floda IF and Gagnefs OK), Stefan “Emil” Kallur Kallur on guitar, piano and vocals (who ran for Hedemora OK) and Anders Erik Olsson on guitar and vocals (who ran for Umeå OK). The fourth member were Westblads childmate Johnny Östling who handles the bass on this recording, This limited two tracker were recorded at BBS/Björbobandets Studio in Björbo outside of Borlänge in February of 1982. Drummer Per Westblad and bass player Johnny Östling were school mates with Mikael Berglund whos father was the owner of BBS. Stefan Emil Kallur moved to Skåne were he in 1987 won the big orienteering competition Tiomila with his team Pan-Önos (later Pan-Kristianstad). This single is quite rocking and has a raw almost punk feel to it. However the two tracks are all about orienteering. The A-side is Chuck Berrys Johnny B Goode with new written lyrics in Swedish while the B-side has a bluesier touch maybe due to the harmonica but it still rocks as much as the A-side.

Track list:
1. Jonny Bråttom
2. Orienteringsfantasten
