Description

2010 re-issue. Limited 500 copies

This is the debut album from the Swedish heavy metal act Pagan that was formed in Gothenburg back in 1987, mostly as a solo project by ex-Solid bassist Ken Olsson. These 10-tracks was originally released as a demo back in 1988 with Daniel Björnarås on vocals. The demo tape was well received and for the example the music magazine The Musicians Exhange wrote in their December 1988 issue; Inventive and intelligent metal from Sweden. Many styles, all expertly performed. Excellent production, cinematic and different. Features unusual cover of Zep’s Immigrant Song. Highly recommended. Beside Daniel Björnarås and Ken Olsson the bands line-up were at the time Björn Böna Öhrfeldt (who made a short stint with Destiny) on drums and Rolf Pesonen on guitars. One of the tracks, Anyway But Backwards, from this demo was also used on the 1989 Rockbox compilation. These tracks were then re-released as their debut album in 1990
