Description
An out of print copy of the Panteras 4-track maxi ‘Walk’. Walk is considered to be one of the band's best tracks and is also the band's most well known song to both Pantera fans and casual listeners. The song ranked number 16 on VH1's 40 Greatest Metal Songs. Guitar World magazine voted the song's solo the 57th greatest of all-time. The song peaked at number 35 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming the bands first UK top 40 hit, and number 23 on the U.S. Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles. The riff for the song ‘Walk’ is something that Darrell had played during a soundcheck while Pantera was touring for Cowboys from Hell and the rest of the band loved it. Following this tour, the band returned home and found that some friends thought that rock stardom had gone to their heads. The lyrics for the song were inspired from these people's attitude towards the band and Anselmo's message to them was ‘Take your fucking attitude and take a fuckin' walk with that. Keep that shit away from me’. This single also features the album track ‘No Good’ and two live tracks recorded at the Monsters Of Rock Festival on the Tushino Airfield in Moscow, Russia on the 28th of September 1991 Track listing: 1. Walk 2. No Good (Attack The Radical) 3. Cowboys From Hell-live Moscow 1991 4. Psycho Holiday-live Moscow 1991
