Special import. The 80s and 90s were full of cut and paste fanzines but now most of them are gone. Some however are still struggling to fight against all the internet magazines. One of these do it yourself die hard fanzines was the doom metal fanzine Pariah Child from Ireland who released two issues back in 2005 and 2006 featuring interesting interviews with bands like Hell, Pagan Altar, Warning, Minotauri, Forsaken, Northwinds and the mighty Pentagram to name a few. Then after the second issue it got awfully quite around this magazine. Lost of stuff were written for a third issue but it never really came together. Fast forward another five-six years and we finally can see the rebirth of this doom publication. Pariah Child has teamed up under a joint banner with another Irish fanzine called Hell Bent For Metal and together they have released their first issue (also sub labelled Masters Of The Pit). This issue features interviews and articles with bands such as Desolation Angels, Procession, Asomvel, Gods Tower, The Wounded Kings, Ravensire, Deceptor, On the road with Rituals of the Oak, Revelation, Pale Divine, Griftegard, Great Coven, Thomas Hand Chaste, Abysmal Grief, Faith and a special guest feature looking back at the birth of Heavy Metal on Portuguese shores.
