Description

White vinyl

Fronted by former Iron Maiden and Battlezone vocalist Paul Dianno. Killers were formed in 1991 named after Iron Maidens second album and the band toured heavily in the Uk, Japan, North America and throughout South America. The band signed to Newcastle upon Tyne’s Bleeding Hearts Records in 1994 and released the menacingly heavy second full length album ‘Menace To Society’. The band were still dogged with problems though as Dianno found himself incarcerated in L.A.’s County Jail on drugs and firearms charges. After three months in the slammer the vocalist was eventually bailed to return to Britain to finish the album. Menace To Society is a surprisingly solid release with slithering guitars and belligerent vocals (if you dont count the mock-rap joke track City Of Fools). Tracks like ?, Die By The Gun and Think Brutal remind one of Fight and show a total separation from his original work with Iron Maiden and Battlezone. A lot of people trashed this release but it was a release were Paul really tried to recreate his musical career. This album was recorded with Battlezone bassplayer Gavin Cooper and Battlezone/Tank/Persian Risk/Chinatown drummer Steve Hopgood and Tank guitarist Cliff Evans in the line up
