Several years has passed since Permafrost AC released the Skärmtiden Läker Alla Sår cassette back in 2000 but Krister Mörtsell seems to be constantly thinking about music. Not only does he run the Do You Dream Of Noise label but he also writes for Elektroskull music webzine and has during the years performed with several acts from punk, hardcore, space rock to ambient music. Permafrost AC is an ambient drone project and judging by the titles of the songs its seems like a very dark, moody and personal project. Music that needs to get out to heal wounds and Krister uses synths, guitars, e-bow, field recordings and effect pedals to create these atmospheric tracks.
