Norways Phantom Fire started back in 2019 with an honest desire to create the music they wanted to listen to when they were kids, Phantom Fire reeks of old classics, rust and diesel. The bands third album, which is self titled, is an album featuring ten tracks and the band goes ahead as usual and play music highly inspired by two classic albums, Killers by Iron Maiden and Ace of Spades by Motörhead. The recording for this third album was so different compared to the previously two albums as the band entered the studio together and recorded everything live. This was a way to try to capture the spirit of heavy metal from the past when rawness and the unpolished often defined the productions. The unprocessed natural sound of screaming guitars, pulsating bass and thunderous drums played together is what defines Phantom Fire.
