Phenomena is a rock project by founding producer Tom Galley. Phenomena’s music has its roots in the classic hard rock genre and many of Phenomena’s contributors have been members of bands such as Deep Purple, Queen or Trapeze. The first album sold extremely well and the co-producer Wilfried F. Rimensberger strongly influenced the production of the second album, ‘Dream Runner’. The follow is just as solid as the debut and it’s a terrific album for anyone that likes melodic hard rock. It features 4 different vocalists-Ray Gillen (Badlands, Sun Red Sun, Sabbath); John Wetton (King Crimson., Asia, etc); Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Sabbath, etc); and Max Bacon (Asia & GTR). I would say that Ray Gillen (RIP) is the star of this album and his voice is truly missed. ‘Did it all for love’ by Wetton is a classic also. Glenn Hughes does a super job (like always) on ‘Surrender’.
