Description

Places Of Power is some sort of supergroup as its an alliance of bass player Bruce Turgon (ex Shadow King, Foreigner, Lou Gramm) and vocalist Philip Bardowell (Unruly Child, Magdalen) with guitar parts were recorded by Scott McKinstry (Bobby Womack and who also played on Bruce Turgons solo album). Now Is The Hour is a fine AOR release where the album kicks of with power when the hardrock track In Your Wildest Dream but theres plenty of softer and smoother songs as well. The overall quality of the album is definitely high. But personally speaking, it is the heavier songs of this release such as One Day, Make Me Believe and In Your Wildest Dreams that do the trick.
