Putrid Torso, formed by Thomas Prasser to deliver rotten, sick and heavy old school death metal. Prasser have worked with several Black/Death band such as Goatthroat, Heretic Deathcult, Obscurys, Ruins Of Unlight and Old Skull. There are some familiar names on the creation of the “Grave Desecrating Ritual” album, for example Rogga Johansson from Paganizer etc on vocals and Lille Gruber from Defeated Sanity on drums. The album features 8 tracks of ugly death metal with a horror sample intro that may sounded like someone was digging at the graveyard collecting dead bodies. The intro will put you in the right mood. The first song is just killer, “The Ghoul Of Graveyards” ha some rotting and crunchy riffs. The guitar tones from Thomas Prasser sounds fat and disgusting enough and Lille does some dead-beat drumming and the screaming and growling effort from Rogga is the icing on the cake. Those who likes to dwell in horror and old school death metal shouldnt miss this one
