Since Thrash Metal roared its way back out from the deepest basements of the underground, a large number of bands started to appear throughout the world, taking influences from the different Metal Schools you can think of, especially from US scenes (New York and California) and the German scene. So, it’s not a surprise to hear an album as Born To Rot In Hell, the fourth one from Italian quartet Razgate. The record is bursting at the seams with fizzing leads, clanking riffs and a latter day Slayer hostility. From the opening track Tyrants Of Depravity, vocalist Giacomo Burgassi adopts a Tom Araya-style of ranting, his voice coming across as a series of aggressive barks. And this is the theme throughout.
