This split cassette between Last Days Of Humanity and Regurgitate features some really brutal goregrind noise at its rawest. For those who dont know Last Days Of Humanity hails from Holland while Regurgitate is a Swedish act that has released some classic grind albums on Relapse Records. So this split tape features more than 40 rare tracks from various splits, eps and demos. Trust me when I say that you wont hear that many albums that can squeeze in so much rage into their songs as these two acts. This isnt just a split album its a crime scene. the whole thing sounds like a hospital morgue on fire, with someone screaming through a meat grinder. And if you like grind you will love this album. The production is filthy, like, cassette-tape-hiss level grimy. But that’s the point. You don’t clean up goregrind. You don’t polish entrails. The rawness makes it real. It’s not supposed to be smooth. It’s supposed to hurt. Some tracks is just over-the-top, grotesque and absurd. When the tape runs it hurts and when its over the silence feels wrong. Too clean, too safe and you dont really like it and youre not sure you wont to go back either. Last Days Of Humanity and Regurgitate dont make music to be liked. They want you to feel if youre alive or if youre already dead inside. When this tape is over it feels like you have heard the soundtrack to the world collapsing and as I said the silence that comes afterwards feels almost scary. So if you want to shake up youre reality then get this as soon as you can
