There are few more reliable live performers than Richard Thompson, who never fails to impress on-stage in any context, and in recent years Thompson has been issuing a steady stream of live recordings (available through his website and at live shows). This double album features a complete show from Greenstreets Columbia on the 17th February 1991. This show sounds outstanding, sure there may be a couple of niggling sound issues here and there, but if youre a fan im sure you’ll be pleased with this acoustic solo performance. The Greenstreets show on this disc actually starts with the soundcheck version of I Misunderstood/The Killing Jar (actually taped ten days later). These discs also hosts some other nice bonuses. 2 acoustic tracks from a UK radio session in 1994 and 4 tracks from the Glastonbury festival in 1992. So all in all these two discs features Richard Thompson playing 28 excellent songs in a live enviroment, and really, how far wrong can you go with that. Track listing: 1.
