1987 Righteous Pigs invaded Vegas with their filthy mixture of punk rock, grindcore, thrash and death metal, once for all proving that sin city does not necessarily stand for lounge town. Their second album Stress Releated is one of the baddest hardcore grind album ever. Too bad these guys didnt make another one after this. You didnt hear anymore from them after the guitarist left for Napalm Death. None of the Napalm albums ever topped the Righteous Pigs. The bands legacy has not been forgotten even today many musicians, like Phil Anselmo (Pantera, Down) and Frank Watkins (Obituary), admit that they have been highly influenced by Righteous Pigs. This album should please fans of crushing punk rock, grindcore and death metal. If youre a fan of brutal, violent music, look no further annihilation has arrived.
